The Anguilla Bank extends from the North of the island of Anguilla to the South of the island of Saint Barthélemy. Its area covers 4690 km2. The size of the site as well as its bathymetry, between 20 and 70 meters, make thisplateau an ideal place for the reproduction of humpback whales. This is a breeding ground for this species.
